ABOUT US

Suzanne and Terry Friday the Driving School is a small, well-established, professional Driving School.  We operate mainly in Maidstone and the surrounding areas.

Suzanne is a patient Lady instructor with over 8 years experience.  She has passed numerous Advanced Driving tests including Institute of Advanced Motorists, Cardington Special test at Grade A and Diamond Advanced Special test.  She has City and Guilds Teaching Qualification and is on the Driving Standards Agency’s Fleet Register.

Practical Experience

As well as involved in learner driving, she works on behalf of Kent Road Safety, and works on the National Driver Improvement Scheme.  This involves coaching members of the public who have had a blameworthy road crash to improve their driving skills.  This also includes classroom theory presentations and taking the role of course leader.

Terry is an Ex-Police Class 1 Driving Instructor and Examiner in cars and Motorcycles.   He is experienced in giving presentations at National Car and Motorcycle Conferences; has also acquired City and Guilds Teaching Qualification and on Driving Standards Agency’s Fleet Register.

Alan is mature, calm and patient instructor and is a respected member of the team.  He was trained by us and has been working for us for over five years.  He has a good working relationship with clients and has been very successful in gaining driving test passes.

Our Aims

- To teach driving in a professional but enjoyable manner and as a Life Skill.
- Not give any more lessons than is necessary to reach a good standard of driving in preparation for the test.
